July 2025 – 44th Junior and Family Camp
- Welcomed international juniors from Japan, China, Taiwan, and other countries.

Location
Airport Pickup & Arrival Guide
CIJ Academy & School provides a safe and convenient airport pickup service to ensure that students arrive smoothly in Cebu.
For first-time visitors to the Philippines, please refer to the guide below for a clear understanding of the arrival process.
Arrival Procedures in the Philippines
After arriving at Cebu-Mactan International Airport, please follow the steps below:
1. Immigration
After disembarking, follow the signs to the Immigration area. Present your passport and required documents to the immigration officer. You may be asked simple questions such as your purpose of visit or length of stay.
Students may answer:
“Tour” or “Sightseeing”
2. Baggage Claim
After passing Immigration, proceed to the baggage claim area.
Check the display screen for your flight number and collect your luggage at the assigned conveyor belt. Please note that baggage delivery may take some time, so kindly wait patiently.
3. Customs
After collecting your luggage, proceed through Customs. If you have no items to declare, you can pass through without difficulty. If you are carrying items that require declaration, please follow the appropriate procedure.
4. Arrival Hall
Once all procedures are completed, you will enter the Arrival Hall. At this point, you may meet the CIJ staff for pickup or proceed with your own transportation. The entire process usually takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on airport conditions.
Pickup Locations at the Airport
Domestic Terminal (T1)
(For flights from Manila, Clark, Baguio, etc.)
Passengers arriving on domestic flights will exit through Terminal 1.
There are two exits in the arrival hall, but the pickup location is the same.
After collecting your luggage, proceed toward the escalator area.
CIJ staff will be waiting between the two exits, in front of the elevator.
Staff will be holding a CIJ sign for easy identification.
International Terminal (T2)
Passengers arriving on international flights will exit through Terminal 2.
There is only one exit in the arrival hall, making it easy to locate.
After collecting your luggage, follow the flow of passengers toward the exit.
CIJ staff will be waiting at the designated meeting point, holding a sign or your name.
Transportation Without Pickup Service
If you choose not to use the pickup service, you may travel to the academy using the options below.
By Taxi
Taxis are readily available at the airport, and there are two types:
- White taxi (regular) – starting fare: 40 PHP
- Yellow taxi (airport taxi) – starting fare: 70 PHP
The estimated fare from the airport to CIJ Academy in Liloan is approximately 500–600 PHP (white taxi).
Yellow taxis are slightly more expensive but generally offer newer and more comfortable vehicles.
For a smooth arrival, we recommend telling the driver:
“CIJ Academy, behind Liloan Jollibee” (or “CIJ Academy, behind Jollibee Liloan”)
By Grab
You may also use the Grab app, which is widely used in the Philippines.
When entering your destination, please search for:
“CIJ Sparta” or “CIJ Academy Liloan”
In many cases, “CIJ Sparta” appears more accurately on Google Maps.
Grab is a convenient option as the fare is shown in advance.
